![]() ![]() Firing a burst tends to require you to be much closer than an aimed eye shot though. I tend to usually level up auto weapons as well as rifles (ignoring all other weapon skills), just so I can use the occasional automatic for cases like these. In those cases, automatic weapons tend to be better than snipers (most of the time) - and you're less dependent on criticals with them. Note that there are some (scripted) battles where you start well within range of a bunch of enemies - these battles tend to be pretty tough even with companions. Here are the newest changes we are presenting in this press release. ![]() I've played through the game three times and this was the first time that I even found the US sniper rifle (it was in the Krasno weapon shop, cost me a ton but worth it). ATOM RPG: Trudograd closed testing On February 29th, we are hitting a major milestone by starting up the first stage of closed testing for the our upcoming project - the ATOM RPG: Trudograd standalone addon It looks and feels a bit different in design and some mechanics. Now, in Trudograd, we are finally able to do it Every single piece of weaponry in Trudograd has some modification slots, which can be filled with all manner of mods. Note that your luck unfortunately also affects items in shops, so it might be some time before you find these weapons - if you ever get them at all. Weapon mods The need for a weapons mod system was seen by us even at the time ATOM RPG first came out, but introducing it back then would’ve required too much time and resources. This prompts the man to head back to the. Speak to the man and offer your sympathies while asking how you can help. These weapons feel almost abusive, since it's possible that the enemies won't move to engage you even after being shot! Feels almost like cheating. Obtained: Speak to a man in a light blue jacket arguing outside the parking lot. ![]() By clicking View Page, you affirm that you are at least eighteen years old. They're not quite as powerful as the experimental rifle, but their range makes up for it. Trudograd :: ATOM RPG Trudograd General discussions \ Content posted in this community may not be appropriate for all ages, or may not be appropriate for viewing at work. There are also a couple of sniper rifles - such as the Dragunov and the US sniper rifle (forget what it's called), that have such a massive range that it's possible to take enemies out well outside of their range. I also used companions, and they helped a lot since they take the heat (allowing you as the sniper to pick off the enemies out of their range). That said, there is a rifle you can get - the experimental one, from one of the bunkers - which has a better critical chance increase than the SKS with scope (I believe it has the highest critical chance of any weapon, though I can't remember what it was). ![]() I played through the game with luck starting at 1 with the recent patch (to 1.5 or so), also expert, also went for manhunter, and although I definitely didn't seem to get as many criticals as I expected, I'd still get at least one per battle (on average). I assume you're going for eye shots? Aimed shots at eyes give you the biggest bonus for criticals (on top of any other bonuses). That said, the manhunter ability should give you a massive boost to criticals, and if I'm not mistaken the SKS with optics adds even more on top of that. Work on Trudograd continues, and soon we'll update you all with screenshots and info about the standalone addon.Well criticals are partially dependent on luck, so lower luck = less chance of getting a critical. We also supplied it with the first iteration of gamepad compatibility, just like some of you asked us! After the update installs, press any gamepad button on the main menu screen, or pick the controller in the options menu to activate it. However, bugfixes which are listed below, are not everything this new version holds. Today is the day we publish the 1.108 patch. However, following an extended early access phase, Trudograd became more. The game was originally envisioned as a standalone expansion for the similarly post-apocalyptic ATOM RPG that launched back in 2018. Some additional details and the latest patch notes: ATOM RPG: Trudograd is a post-apocalyptic RPG inspired by such venerable classics as Wasteland and Fallout, but with a Soviet coat of paint. Here's a quick video that showcases the game's controller support in a sample fight:Īnd here's how it's going to be used during exploration: The latest one for example, along with the usual bug fixes, added controller support to the game. Even though AtomTeam is currently focusing on the upcoming standalone Trudograd expansion for their post-apocalyptic ATOM RPG, the base game is still getting updates from time to time. ![]()
